SPQ ALTITUDE 100
In order to gain a more detailed understanding of the change, Atrium.brussels decided to survey people who frequent the district every day. The aim was to gather more comprehensive and precise information in six areas that shape life in the district: accessibility and mobility, culture, business, environment, identity and image, and town planning. The “6 theme survey” method makes it possible to convert qualitative data from shopper feedback into an objective quantitative analysis. The six themes were explored through a questionnaire, each question being measured scale of 1 to 5.
A large sample of respondents participated, providing in-depth quantitative data. This improved the objectivity of the survey. The results have enabled us to confirm hypotheses established through interviews with experts and local business owners, and through other immersive methods, such as “Live life in my district”. This survey has allowed us to gain new insight into the district, giving Atrium.brussels a deeper understanding, and helping guide those considering opening a business.
“This method brings scientific rigour to the study and encompasses a larger sample of respondents. Figures are essential when producing a study, as they can be used to calculate percentages and, ideally, complement qualitative information”.
